She got into the sport when Auckland Diving staff came to her primary school and delivered the school outreach program. She came along to one of Auckland Diving's free trials, and she's been diving ever since!

She was motivated, striking up a compromise with her mum that once she had reached the highest level in her swimming lessons, she could start diving. Since joining in September 2018, Pip has loved the fun, the people and the unique kind of challenge and so has been a keen diver ever since!
