Inaugural Pacific Junior Diving Championships in 2019Diving New Zealand is pleased to be hosting the inaugural Pacific Junior Diving Championships to be held in Wellington, New Zealand on 23–25 August 2019. With no international event currently available for age-group divers in the Pacific Region, Diving New Zealand aims to establish this competition as a regular event to be held every two years, with different countries taking turns to host the event. Clubs and federations from all regions around the world are invited to attend this inaugural event. The competition in 2019 will be held at the Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre, which comprises a diving pool with 2x1m and 2x3m boards, and 5m, 7.5m and 10m platforms. |

Located next to the Aquatic Centre, the Toitu Poneke Community and Sports Centre (The Hub) contains dry-land training facilities, including a trampoline and dry board. Both facilities are located close to Wellington Airport, and walking distance to the official accommodation.
A full range of events for age-group divers (groups A, B and C) will be contested on the 1m and 3m springboards; and the 5m, 7.5m and 10m platforms. Synchronised diving and a team event will also be hosted. A diving display event is also planned for the last day for all medalled divers in each event.
FINA Diving Rules will apply for all events.
